South Ozone Park Library Closes For Two Months Of Repairs
The Queens Public Library is temporarily closing its South Ozone Park branch to make repairs.
SOUTH OZONE PARK, QUEENS — The Queens Public Library is temporarily closing its South Ozone Park branch to make repairs.
The South Ozone Park library, located at 128-16 Rockaway Blvd., closes Friday afternoon for about two months to get a new roof.
A library spokeswoman did not immediately respond to Patch's request for comment on the project's budget and what will happen to previously scheduled events at that branch.

During the closure, the Queens Public Library will provide mobile library service on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., beginning May 9. Nearby library branches Lefferts, Ozone Park and South Jamaica are also available.
The South Ozone Park Library closes May 3 at 2 p.m.
