JAMAICA, QUEENS — The Sutphin Boulevard BID is partnering with a local businessman to bring hot Thanksgiving meals to Jamaica residents.
Volunteers will hand out an estimated 200 to-go meals from 10 a.m. to noon on Thanksgiving Day at 90-53 Sutphin Blvd., thanks to a partnership between the nonprofit business association and Queens businessman and property owner Robin Eshaghpour.
The giveaway is in memory of Eshaghpour's father, Mehdi, a longtime businessman on Sutphin Boulevard, according to a press release.
