Thief Steals Man's Phone At Knifepoint In Jamaica Station: NYPD
The perp held a knife to a 64-year-old passenger's throat when he refused to let him use his cellphone, cops say

JAMAICA, QUEENS -- Cops are searching for the thief who held a knife to a 64-year-old man's throat and stole his cell phone when he refused to let him use it at a subway station in Jamaica.
The man was waiting for an F train inside the Parsons Boulevard subway station at around 1:30 p.m. when a guy sat down next to him and asked to use his phone, police said.
When the man refused, the perp pulled out a knife and held it to his neck, authorities said. He then snatched the phone and fled the station down Hillside Avenue.

Cops described the thief as a 5-foot-7 man in his twenties. He was last seen dressed in grey sweats and black sneakers.
