Wallet Snatcher Goes On Car Window Smashing Spree In Queens: NYPD
The perp smashed in the windows of three separate cars in southeast Queens, including two in a JFK Airport parking lot, police said.

SOUTH OZONE PARK, QUEENS -- Police are searching for a wallet thief who went on a car window-smashing spree through southeast Queens.
The perp is wanted for obliterating the windows of three cars in just as many days to get to the wallets inside, authorities said.
He first struck on Aug. 13 in Howard Beach, breaking into a Honda sedan parked outside a home on 156th Avenue near 87th Street sometime after midnight, police said. He snatched the 20-year-old owner's wallet from the car and fled.

On Aug. 16, the thief targeted two more cars parked in a John F. Kennedy International Airport parking lot about three miles away on South Conduit Avenue, cops said.
He broke into a Honda Accord and stole the 28-year-old owner's iPhone and wallet before smashing the window of a 27-year-old man's Toyota Camry to take his wallet, authorities said.

The NYPD recently released surveillance photos of the suspect, who police described as a heavyset man.
