Armed Robbers Target 3 Queens Bodegas in 2 Weeks: NYPD

KEW GARDENS, QUEENS -- Cops are searching for a trio of masked gunmen who robbed three Queens bodegas in less than two weeks.
The three unidentified men bore handguns, face masks, and head-to-toe black apparel while stealing cash from the bodegas during the three stickups, including one in Jamaica and two in Kew Gardens, police said.
Surveillance footage of one instance showed two of the masked men pointing their guns on a cashier while a third man rummaged through the bodega for cash and valuables.

The first robbery happened just after 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 2 in a Jamaica bodega at 90-45 148th St., cops said. At around the same time on Jan. 8, the three then hit another bodega about a mile away at 123-07 in Kew Gardens, police said. The trio of gunmen then stormed the last bodega just down the street at 126-09 Jamaica Ave. on Jan. 12 at around 7:35 p.m.
Each time, the three men stole cash while keeping their guns pointed at employees, cops said. They were caught on surveillance footage leaving the second robbery in a silver four-door Honda CRV with New York license plates, police said.
