Father Accused Of Killing Briarwood Son-In-Law, Cops Say
Travis Ford, 31, was stabbed in the abdomen and face in Queens Friday morning and police arrested his father-in-law.

BRIARWOOD, QUEENS — Police believe a man stabbed his son-in-law to death inside his Briarwood apartment Thursday night, according to police and reports.
Travis Ford, 31, began arguing with his father-in-law inside Ford's home near 139th and Main streets at about 8 p.m., police said.
Then Ford's father-in-law picked up a knife and stabbed Ford in the stomach and face, said police.

Emergency responders rushed Ford to Jamaica Hospital where he later died, police said.
The father-in-law was arrested by police and charges were pending Friday morning, according to police and the New York Post.

On Friday night, police identified the accused as 45-year-old Marco Ortiz, of Queens. Ortiz is charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
