Forest Hills Cafe To Open Second Kew Gardens Location

KEW GARDENS, QUEENS -- A Forest Hills cafe that serves everything from coffee to entire rotisserie chickens will open up its second digs in Kew Gardens next week, owners announced Friday.

Roast 'n' Co, located at 100-12 Queens Blvd., will open its next coffee shop just two miles away at 82-60 Austin St. on June 4, owners announced on the cafe's Facebook page.

The new spot, located almost directly under Kew Gardens' Long Island Rail Road station, will be larger than the first - around 800-square-feet with at least 20 seats, owners previously told the Forest Hills Post.

The cafe's signature combination of coffee, pastries, sandwiches, salads and everything in between will remain the same, according to the new cafe's "Coming Soon" sign.

Roast 'n' Co opened in April 2016 with a coal to combine "a friendly atmosphere with excellent ingredients and locally outsourced products" into a restaurant with a "great menu selection, efficient and satisfying customer service," owners said on their website.

The cafe's online menu offers everything from coffee and smoothies, to sweet and savory breakfast items, to lunch options like a truffle grilled cheese sandwich and beef chili soup. Oh, and don't forget the entire rotisserie chicken - served with your choice of four sides - that you can casually pick up while you're there.

The new cafe, which also offers take out and delivery options, will be open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Roast 'n' Co owners did not immediately return Patch's requests for comment.
