Person Run Over By Train In Kew Gardens, MTA Says
A person was run over by a train car at the Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike E and F train station, the MTA said.

KEW GARDENS, QUEENS — A person was run over by a train at Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike station about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, the MTA said.
The person was lying in the train bed in between the rails when one train car drove over her, a spokesperson said, but the person and the train didn't make contact.
The person was seriously injured and was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, according to the FDNY. An eyewitness, who posted accounts of the incident to Twitter, wrote that an unidentified man pulled the individual from the subway tracks.

The incident led to delays on the E and F trains, which were making local stops from Briarwood to Forest Hills-71 Ave, the MTA said.
