Richmond Hill Man Who Raped 14-Year Old Gets 3 Years In Jail
The man was sentenced Wednesday after forcing himself on the teen, who was allegedly blackmailed into meeting up with him for sex.

RICHMOND HILL, QUEENS -- A Queens man will spend three years behind bars for raping a 14-year-old girl who was blackmailed into meeting up with him for sex, prosecutors said Wednesday.
Albert Premnauth, 24, was found guilty of second-degree rape and other charges in June for forcing himself onto the teen 10 years is junior in 2016, "even though she cried and literally begged not to be raped," said Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
The girl was blackmailed into meeting up with Premnauth at his Jamaica Avenue home by an 18-year-old acquaintance who allegedly owed him money for marijuana, according to the charges.

The friend had gotten his hands on a nude video the teen had sent to another friend on Snapchat, and he allegedly threatened to post it online if she didn't have sex with Premnauth.
A meeting was arranged for Feb. 20, 2016, but when the teen got to Premnauth's home she told him she was just 14 and pleaded with him to give her time to repay the money her friend owed him, charges state.

He refused, instead forcing her to have sex with him and giving her $100 cash and a pair of Beats by Dre headphones when he was finished, according to the charges. She gave both to the 18-year-old, who sold them to repay Premnauth.
Premnauth was convicted of second-degree rape, second-degree criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child. After his prison time, he will be required to serve 10 years' probation and register as a sex offender.
