KINGS PARK, NY - When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Mackenzie is an 10-year-old girl who took it upon herself to create and build a Kindness Kabinet. This cabinet is filled with kindness rocks for others to take in hopes of bringing a smile to their face and joy to their day.

Mackenzie is a thoughtful young lady who cares. She has made it her goal to make others happy.
