2 Hurt in Head-On Crash in Kings Park
A man was airlifted to the hospital after the crash Wednesday night.
KINGS PARK, NY – Two people were injured in a head-on crash in Kings Park Wednesday night, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, 54-year-old William Seitz was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban eastbound on St. Johnland Road near Squire Lane when his vehicle crossed into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a 2016 Chrysler driven by Carissa Clancy at about 7:30 p.m.
Seitz, of Northport, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Clancy, 26, of Kings Park, was taken to the same hospital via ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
