3 Men Arrested After Kev's Tire Shop Robbed At Gunpoint: SCPD

The employee was physically attacked and threatened with a handgun, police say.

KINGS PARK, NY — Three men were arrested on Thursday in connection with a robbery at Kev's Tire Shop, located at 12 Renwick Ave., Kings Park, the Suffolk County Police Department said.

Keyon Miller, 21, and Kristian Miller, 19, Brentwood brothers, entered Kev's Tire Shop at 11:10 a.m. Thursday, police said. Keyon physically attacked an employee while Kristian pointed a black handgun demanding money and threatening to shoot the employee, police said. The employee handed the brothers cash, and then the pair got in a 2014 Toyota Camry being driven by Bunice Knight III and escaped, police said. The employee was not injured.

After a notification was broadcast, a Smithtown Fire Marshall found the Camry. Police stopped the car at Vanderbilt Motor Parkway and Commack Road in Commack, and it was impounded as evidence, police said.

The Miller brothers and Knight III, 18, of Bay Shore, were arrested and charged with first-degree robbery. They are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.
