SMITHTOWN, NY — A man was arrested after Suffolk police say he threw bricks at two Smithtown businesses on Tuesday night.
Donald Liss, 58, of Kings Park, hurled bricks through the windows of Solar Hair Designers and the Kings Park Animal Hospital, both at 1215 Route 25A, Smithtown, around 6:40 p.m., police said. He was arrested shortly after and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief.
Liss' arrest does not appear to be related to Tuesday's Black Lives Matter protest in Smithtown, police said.
