KINGS PARK, NY — The Kings Park 2020 St. Patrick's Day Parade is right around the corner.

It's scheduled for noon Saturday, March 7, and starts at the intersection of Lou Avenue and Pulaski Road, according to the Kings Park St. Patrick's Day Parade website. From there, it continues down Main Street, turns onto Church Street, and ends down Old Dock Road at the William T. Rogers Middle School.

The parade was founded in 2011 by Kevin "The Professor" Denis, the owner of Professor's Diner in Kings Park, according to the parade website. The march features numerous bagpipe bands, floats, hundreds of marching community organizations, and a tribute to whoever serves as grand marshal.
