Kings Park Fire Department To Hold Food Drive

KINGS PARK, NY — Members of the Kings Park Fire Department are scheduled to hold a "drive-thru" food drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in an effort to help local food banks experiencing shortages due to the new coronavirus. The drop-off is at the fire department's 2 E. Main St., Kings Park location.

The department will be collecting paper goods, non-perishable foods, personal hygiene products and baby care items. All materials will be sent to local food banks. Social distancing rules will be adhered to at the collection, officials said. There will be no person-to-person contact.
