Kings Park Man, Northport Village Administrator, Arrested: SCDA

He stole a sliding-glass door, windows and Sheetrock from Northport Village for personal use, the SCDA's office said.

NORTHPORT, NY — Timothy Brojer, the Northport village administrator, was arrested on Tuesday on charges that he stole a sliding-glass door, windows and Sheetrock from the village, all for personal use, Newsday reported.

Brojer, 44, of Kings Park, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and public corruption, according to case information from the Suffolk First District Court.

News 12 Long Island said the felony complaint states that Brojer stolethe materials between April and July, quoted prosecutors saying the total value is $6,000.

Brojer pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Wednesday in Suffolk County District Court in Central Islip, the Suffolk DA's office told Newsday. He also resigned Tuesday from the village administrator's position, which he had held for five years, Northport Village Clerk Donna Koch told Newsday.

He is due back in court Oct. 9.
