KINGS PARK, NY - A Kings Park pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint on Friday night, according to Suffolk Police.
A man, armed with a handgun, entered Rite Aid on 18 Indian Head Road at about 9:30 p.m.
The manager was removing money from the safe at the time. The robber stole cash and fled.

There were no injuries.
The robber was described as a black man, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and black jeans, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452, or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
