Kings Park School Budget Passes Easily, Board Incumbent Ousted
Voters have decided on a proposed 2015-16 budget.

Kings Park residents have approved the school district’s $296.07 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 2,065-577.
The budget represents a 0.64 percent spending increase over the current year and it includes a 2.24 percent hike in the school tax levy, which is within the district’s state tax cap.
Incumber Diane Nally and challenger Kevin D. Johnston won seats on the board of education over incumbent Charles Leo.
