Kings Park School Budget Results Are In
Kings Park residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.
Kings Park residents approved the district's $92,168,700 proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 1189 to 550.
The budget represents a 4.09 percent spending increase over the current year and a tax levy increase of 2.73 percent.
In the vote for Kings Park Board of Education members, Diane Nally and Kevin Johnston beat out Darryl Valinchus for the two open seats. Nall received 1,281 votes, Valinchus received 530 votes and Johnston received 1383 votes.
