Kings Park Residents Approve School Budget
Kings Park residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.
KINGS PARK, NY - Kings Park residents approved the district's $92,168,700 proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 985 to 376.
The budget represents a 4.09 percent spending increase over the current year and a tax levy increase of 2.73 percent.
In the vote for Kings Park Board of Education members, Pam Deford and Dan Tew beat out JP Andrade for the two open seats.

Deford received 1,106 votes, Tew received 1,046 votes and Andrade received 264 votes.
