Kings Park St. Patrick's Day Parade 2018: What You Need To Know

The popular event will kick off this weekend.

KINGS PARK, NY - The annual Kings Park St. Patrick's Day Parade will kick off this weekend.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 3 starting at 12 p.m. at the corner of Lou Avenue and Pulaski Road.

The parade will then continue down Main Street, turn onto Church Street and end at the William T. Rogers Middle School on Old Dock Road.

The parade was founded in 2011 by Kevin "The Professor" Denis, the owner of Professor's Diner in Kings Park, New York and celebrates the Irish cultural roots of Kings Parkers.

The event will feature numerous bagpipe bands, floats, hundreds of marching community organizations, and a tribute to a Grand Marshal who has made great contributions to the Kings Park Community.
