Missing Kings Park Man With Schizophrenia Found: Police

The 59-year-old was found earlier this week after he was reported missing on Oct. 1.

KINGS PARK, NY - Suffolk County Police issued a Silver Alert on Tuesday for a missing Kings Park man who suffers from schizophrenia.

Eugene Chaitowicz, 59, was last seen October 1 at 7 a.m.

Chaitowicz (pictured above) lives at the New York State Office of Mental Health Community Residence on 151 The Boulevard.

He is described as 5-foot-6, 120 pounds, with brown eyes, gray balding hair, and a full beard.
Chaitowicz is known to walk around the Kings Park area, but has previously been found in Nassau County.

Anyone with information about Chaitowicz' location is asked to call 911 or Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Squad detectives at 631-854-8441.
