Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Car: SCPD
The 27-year-old was struck while walking in Kings Park early Wednesday.

KINGS PARK, NY - A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Kings Park early Wednesday, according to Suffolk Police.
Edward Miles, 27, of Kings Park was walking on Route 25A, near Ashland Drive, when he was struck by a southbound 2001 Toyota Rav 4 at 5 a.m.
He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The driver of the Toyota, a 40-year-old Smithtown man, was not injured.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
