Popular Kings Park BBQ Joint To Close After 10 Years In Business
The restaurant has shut down and will soon be reopening in a new location.

KINGS PARK, NY - A popular Kings Park hot spot closed down after 10 years in business and will be moving to a new location.
Dixie's Smokehouse BBQ, located on 12 Indian Head Road, announced on its website that the eatery will be shutting down.
"Dixie's would like to thank all of our loyal customers for over 10 years of successful business," the message read.

However, barbecue lovers can get their fix just a few miles down the road.
The business will be opening a new restaurant concept this month in Smithtown.

Manager Chris Goldmann told Newsday the new restaurant, which will now be called Andersen's Smokehouse Grill, will be located on Main Street and offer the same delicious barbecue meats with a slight change to the menu.
