There's a marginal chance of severe weather on Long Island Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
There's a slight chance of thunderstorms overnight and then things should be sunny into the afternoon. That's when things get a bit iffy.
The threat of thunderstorms is expected to be the highest around 6-8 p.m., but even then, the NWS pegs the odds at just 30 percent.
