Tis' the Season For Opportunity at Smith Haven Mall

Job seekers on Long Island can learn all about the hiring opportunities available at Simon’s Smith Haven Mall when it hosts its first Job Fair on Saturday, October 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. in Center Court. The event will feature retailers in search of local talent for both part-time and full-time positions.

“We are pleased to host this Job Fair, as it offers candidates a chance to gain immediate knowledge of the various opportunities available and have one-on-one discussions with Smith Haven Mall’s retailers,” commented Ann M. Schultz, director of marketing and business development for Smith Haven Mall. “With the holiday period just around the corner, there are many jobs available ranging from seasonal to permanent, part time to full-time positions.”

Participating stores include American Eagle Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, Brighton Collectibles, Dynamite, Forever 21, Garage, H&M, JCPenney, Kay Jewelers, Kneipp, Littman Jewelers, L.L. Bean, Macy’s and Victoria's Secret/PINK.

The Job Fair is free and open to the public. Candidates are encouraged to attend ready to impress; with an updated resume as some prospective employers will conduct one-on-one screenings that day while others will accept applications and/or provide additional information about job opportunities at their respective stores.
