Town Of Smithtown Restaurants Taking Part In LI Restaurant Week

LONG ISLAND, NY - Restaurant week will be returning to Long Island starting this weekend.

During the event, several participating restaurants will offer a three-course prix fixe for $27.95 every day from April 22 - April 29, except for Saturday when the menu may only be offered until 7 p.m.

The tradition got its start on the East End in 2003 and was organized by East Hampton-based public relations firm WordHampton.

Success out east prompted the creation of the Long Island-wide promotion, offering affordable meals from top chefs at some of the most expensive restaurants across the region.

Here are the participating restaurants within the Town of Smithtown:

• Athenian Greek Taverna - 2187 Jericho Turnpike, Commack
• Ragazzi Italian Kitchen and Bar - 2590 Middle Country Road, Nesconset
• Aji 53 - 1 Miller Place, Smithtown
• Butera's Restaurant - 65 E Main Street, Smithtown
• Cafe Havana - 944 W Jericho Turnpike, Smithtown
• Casa Rustica - 175 W Main Street, Smithtown
• Chop Shop Bar and Grill - 47 E Main Street, Smithtown
• Garden Grill Restaurant - 64 N Country Road, Smithtown
• H20 Seafood and Sushi Smithtown - 215 W Main Street, Smithtown
• Kitchen A Bistro - 404 N Country Road, St. James
• villa sorrento - 823 Middle Country Road, St James
