Woman Crashes Into Light Pole, Drives Off: SCPD

KINGS PARK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the woman who was involved in a hit-and-run with a light pole in Kings Park.

The pole was damaged when a woman driving a light blue Jeep Liberty drove into it, police said. The crash took place in the parking lot of the BP located at 94 Pulaski Road on Aug. 11 around 10:45 a.m., police said. She is wanted on a charge of leaving the scene.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
