Woman Wanted For Stealing Lobsters from Shop Rite

Local police are looking for a woman who walked out with approximately $65 worth of lobsters from a Hauppauge grocery store.

Local authorities are seeking the public’s help with identifying and locating a woman who stole merchandise from a Hauppauge Shop Rite.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are looking for a woman who entered the grocery store at approximately 12:53 p.m. on July 29. She placed approximately $65 worth of lobsters in a reusable bag and left the store without paying, then fled in a white SUV. The suspect was wearing a black shirt with a white flower design and jeans.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. If you have information on the identities or location of these individuals, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
