Annual Turkey Trot Scheduled For Mamaroneck

MAMARONECK, NY — Get ready for the 53rd annual Turkey Trot and Gobbler Race in Mamaroneck. The races will happen on Sunday. The Gobbler Race, which is 1 mile and for 12 years and younger, will begin at 9:45 a.m.

The Turkey Trot 5K, for 12 and up, will start at 10:15 a.m.

Both races will be at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck.

For the Gobbler Race, pre-registration is $15; race day registration costs $20; adults running with children are free.

For the 5K, pre-registration through Friday is $35; race day registration is $40.

Race day registration will take place from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The awards ceremony will be at 11 a.m.

The start and finish line is the Stephen E. Johnston Beach Pavilion.

Hot turkey soup, donated by Mamaroneck Diner and Pizza, will be available immediately following the race.
