Boston Post Road Closed In Larchmont Due To Storm Damage
A fallen tree and utility work have forced US Route 1 to close in Larchmont. The busy Westchester artery is expected to reopen later today.

LARCHMONT, NY — Severe weather has forced a major Westchester traffic artery to close after a tree fell into power lines and over a car.
Boston Post Road is closed between Beach Avenue and Larchmont Avenue because of a leaning utility pole as a result of Tuesday's brief but severe storm.
Village officials say the normally busy roadway will not reopen until Con Edison gives the okay for the tree to be safely removed. The road is expected to reopen to traffic by the end of day Wednesday.
