MAMARONECK, NY — The Food Pantry Distribution Tent at Columbus Park in Mamaroneck has been an essential resource for members of the community struggling with food insecurity, but on Tuesday, the Larchmont-Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force site will offer a different kind of lifeline.

The tent will host a free pop-up coronavirus vaccination clinic. Although the clinic will be especially convenient for Food Pantry clients, the no-appointment needed mass vaccination event will be open to anyone in the community 18-years-old or older who would like to receive their first dose of the Moderna vaccine.

The pop-vaccine event will take place May 18, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Columbus Park is located directly opposite the Mamaroneck Train Station, making the clinic a convenient stop for MTA commuters coming home from work.
