Comedy Night at Molly Spillane’s on Thursday, April 25

Performers from the New York City Comedy Club Scene Provide Laughs on Thursday, April 25 To Benefit The Cente for Continuing Education

Tickets are selling fast to Comedy Night at Molly Spillane’s on Thursday, April 25 at 7 PM. The second annual FUNdraiser to benefit The Center for Continuing Education features comedians from the New York City club scene. Headlining the evening is John Iavarone, a veteran comedian with a unique take on current events, marriage and children. Joining him are: Eric Neumann, a regular headliner at Caroline’s and had a #1 comedy album on ITunes; Sasha Srbulj who performs in New York and Los Angeles and just completed a television special; Caitlin Peluffo who has opened for Colin Quinn and Gilbert Gottfried; and Ryan Brown who appears at Caroline’s, The Comic Strip and festivals around the country. Ron Nobles, a Hommocks Middle School teacher by day, comedian by night will be the MC.

According to The Center’s executive director Diane Cashman, “Funds raised at Comedy Night allow us to serve as a space for the community to come together to learn. We offer diverse classes from foreign language and art, to computer skills, line dancing and college prep. Our goal is to reach as many lifelong learners as possible with high quality learning and cultural experiences. We’re proud to have launched a scholarship program for middle and high school learners and hope to expand our assistance to low-income senior citizens as well.
