CT Man Accused Of Drunken Driving In Mamaroneck
Police said the man was initially pulled over on the interstate for vehicle and traffic violations.
MAMARONECK, NY — A Connecticut man was accused having almost three times the legal level of alcohol in his bloodstream. State police said, around 1 a.m. Saturday, troopers stopped a car on I-95 in the Village of Mamaroneck for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
The driver of the car — Yomner W. Figueroa Vega, 31, of Stratford, Connecticut — was found to be intoxicated, police said.
He was taken into custody and processed at the New Rochelle barracks where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.21 percent.

Figueroa Vega was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Mamaroneck Court May 14.
