CT Man Accused Of Drunken Driving On I-95

Police said his blood alcohol content was 0.18 percent.

LARCHMONT, NY — A Connecticut man was accused of driving while intoxicated Friday. State police said John T. Willoughby, 51, of Stamford, Connecticut, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and several vehicle and traffic violations.

Police said, around 8:30 p.m. Friday, troopers stopped a car on I-95 in the Village of Larchmont for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

Willoughby was found to be intoxicated, police said.

He was arrested and taken to the New Rochelle barracks where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18 percent.

Willoughby was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Larchmont Court July 14.
