Dry, Wet, Dry: Larchmont's Work Week Weather

LARCHMONT, NY — A high-pressure system flowing down from Canada is to be thanked for lower temps and lower humidity Monday and Tuesday. But.

Late Tuesday into Wednesday, expect more humid conditions and a steadily increasing chance of rain. Plus higher temps, more humidity, and possible thunderstorms will be possible as well.

• Monday: A slight chance of drizzle or light rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 75. East wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. East wind around 6 mph.
• Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. East wind 8 to 10 mph.
• Tuesday Night: A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 9pm. Cloudy, with a low around 70. Southeast wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
• Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. West wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 60.
• Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 79.
• Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 58.
• Friday: Sunny, with a high near 83.
