As live entertainment slowly returns to the Hudson Valley, common sense still remains on the program. This week: baseball & an airport flea.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY —The continued easing of pandemic-related restrictions continues to pick up speed across the region, allowing more audience members to once again attend films, stage performances, exhibits and concerts.
Here are just a few of the best reasons to venture out of the house to enjoy a show. Safety still remains the top priority, so we also added virtual ways to enjoy a night out without leaving home.
FLEA: The Stormville Airport Flea Market - Antiques, collectibles, arts and crafts are on the tarmac along with food vendors. Beer and wine are available. Shoppers are cleared to land May 29 and 30. Admission is Free. 845-221-6561

CIRCUS: The Zerbini Family Circus at the Museum Village in Monroe - An old-fashioned family circus with three-ring fun under the big top tent, including jugglers, trapeze artists, high wire acts and, of course, clowns. Several showtimes throughout the holiday weekend. Tickets are $10-$12 and valid for any showtime. Museum Village 845-782-8248

BASEBALL: The Hudson Valley Renegades - The Renegades have a home stand with fireworks scheduled for the Friday night game. The Yankees minor league affiliate will play the Jersey Shore Blueclaws Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Dutchess Stadium. Ticket prices and a full-season schedule can be found here.

VIRTUAL THEATRE: One Thing I Want You to Know - A performance that centers on queer voices and celebrates living one’s truth as members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Artists share their art and their stories. Presented as part of In Our Own Words, our series that brings issues of social justice center stage through art and conversation.
