Fathers Forum: Helping Our Kids Cope with Stress
A monthly parenting and discussion group for dads of pre-teen and teenage kids in Westchester County. Next meeting is Sat. Nov. 7th.

Fathers’ Forum is a new group founded by local Westchester dads, following in the footsteps of a similar group in Greenwich, CT, which is dedicated to helping fathers improve relationships with their children. Monthly meetings each feature a different timely topic and speaker, followed by a Q & A and informal discussion. Topics range from sports parenting to cyberbullying to peer relationships. The next Fathers’ Forum meeting will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7th from 8 – 9:30 am on “Helping Our Kids Cope With Stress,” with Dr. Dan Brenner, clinical psychologist and Superintendent of Darien Schools; and Dr. Hilary Weiss Cooper, a clinical psychologist in private practice in Rye.
Meetings are generally held on the first Saturday of each month in the Tigers Den at Mamaroneck High School (Room S166, first floor, to the left of the main entrance on Boston Post Road). Please see the website for more details: www.fathersforumwestchester.com. Meetings are recommended for fathers of school-age children and are free and open to all. Fathers’ Forum is sponsored by Larchmont Mamaroneck RADAR.
