Final Rye Neck School District Public Budget Hearing On Wednesday

Voters will have their say on the district's planned $46,069,994 spending package for 2021-2022 May 18, when the budget is on the ballot.

MAMARONECK, NY — The final public hearing on the proposed 2021-22 budget and candidate statements for the Rye Neck School District will be held on May 5 at 7 p.m. in the MS/HS Dining Hall.

The meeting will detail the spending plan for the upcoming school year. The proposed budget is $46,069,994, with a 3.42 percent increase over the 2020-21 spending package.

School officials said the tax levy will increase by 2.17 percent if the budget is approved by voters later this month.

The annual budget vote and board election will be from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. on May 18 in the MS/HS Community Room.
