Free Meals For Families Still Available From Mamaroneck Schools

MAMARONECK, NY — Families in the Mamaroneck school district who may be eligible for free meals can still sign up for them. School officials said the district's food service provider, Aramark, is continuing to make and distribute meals every day to families who depend on free and reduced price breakfast and lunch from the district.

"If you believe your family may be eligible (based on household size and family income), but have not yet signed up to receive meals, it is not too late," an email from the district said.

Do the following two things to begin accessing free meals:

1) Text the following information to 914-294-5029 or email.
- Your name
- Your child's name and grade
- Your preferred pick up location (Hommocks, MAS or St. Thomas Episcopal Church)

2) Complete an application and send it to jlorusso@mamkschools.org. The form is available on the district website or here.

You may begin picking up meals immediately, officials said. The meals are available at 11 a.m. daily at each location.
