Funeral Services Set For Mamaroneck Teen Killed In Snowmobile Accident

Visitation will take place Thursday afternoon and evening.

MAMARONECK, NY — Services have been set for the teenager who died in a snowmobile accident in New Hampshire.

Arthur Remy, 15, was in a fishing derby with his father Sunday on Lake Winnipesaukee when their snowmobiles fell through the ice.

Remy’s father was rescued, and Remy’s body was recovered later.

Visiting hours will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 at the Cody-White Funeral Home at 107 Broad St. in Milford, CT.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17.

It will be held at Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf St. in Milford. Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave. in Milford.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent by check, dated April 1, 2017, to the Arthur Remy Memorial Project, 26 Garden Rd., Harrison, NY 10528.

Remy was a sophomore at the French-American School of New York, where he was active in sports.

According to his obituary, he was passionate about fishing, hunting, archery and sailing.

He is survived by his parents Arnaud and Trina Riso Remy, two sisters, paternal and maternal grandparents and other relatives.
