Gusty Winds In Forecast; Advisory Issued

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A wind advisory has been issued for parts of the Hudson Valley. The National Weather Service said the advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties.

West winds from 20 t0 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.

The weather service said gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
