How did you come up with the name?

Find out what's happening in Larchmont-Mamaroneckfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

I came up with the name as I wanted to choose something that was motivating, inspiring as well as calming and supportive, New Day Vitality seemed like the perfect name to incorporate all the concepts I wanted to ensure to include. My mother also passed away when I was young, she was and has always been my inspiration. Her name was Victoria and I wanted to ensure I could honor her through the name of my business, thus using vitality, I incorporated the "v" for Victoria in my business name.

Why start a business in this town?

It's a fantastic town and community, there is a lot of love and support in Larchmont, and it's a community I was honored to become a part of.

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

It was difficult to connect with other businesses at first. It was a lot of marketing and putting myself out there. At first it was difficult as I'm confident as a therapist but wasn't necessarily as comfortable with marketing myself and in hand my business. Over time I've become confident and comfortable marketing my practice and putting myself out there. It's also been something that I've found fantastic. I've had the pleasure of connecting with other business owners with whom I've created bonds and working relationships, which has been great.

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?

My proudest achievement is being able to help and support my clients. I've had many clients write beautiful reviews thanking me for my support, and it has been truly touching and a blessing. I love what I do, and I'm honored to help my clients as well as the community.

How does your business give back to the community?

At several local businesses get-togethers, I've come forward and given gift certificates for free services at my practice. I'm honored and happy to be able to give back to this wonderful community that I'm so happy to be a a part of.
