Larchmont Woman Honored by Sailing Organization
She was the first woman to serve on the racing rules committee.

A Larchmont woman was honored Thursday for her achievements in the sport of sailing.
An article on US Sailing website said Mary Savage received the Nathanael G. Herreshoff Trophy for her “outstanding contributions to the sport of sailing.”
The award was given out at the US Sailing Awards Dinner Presented by Rolex at the Hilton San Diego Resort.
