The Mamaroneck Union Free School District issued this email bulletin Friday afternoon:
"Due to the impending weather, all school buildings/facilities will close for all activities at 12 noon tomorrow, Saturday, December 14th, 2013."
A Winter Storm Watch will be in effect for all of Southern Westchester from 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday as a major storm rolls into the area. Health officials are urging residents to protect against the cold.
