Mamaroneck Schools Alert Parents About Creepy Off Campus Incident

Mamaroneck school officials told families a student reported seeing a man masturbating in a car on Boston Post Rd. near the Hommocks School.

MAMARONECK, NY — Wednesday afternoon, Mamaroneck Schools issued a disturbing alert to students, faculty and families after a student walking to classes reported seeing a man masturbating in a car. The incident happened earlier that day at the intersection of Boston Post Road and Hommocks Road, school officials say.

“The police investigated the area, and the vehicle was not discovered on school property,” administrators said in a statement about the events. “In partnership with the police, we will continue to monitor our school campus and surrounding area. We encourage everyone to remain diligent of your surroundings and want to remind students, staff and parents of the importance of reporting suspicious incidents and working together to keep our community safe.”

The worrying events occurred just a short distance away from the Hommocks Middle School. The student reported that the grown man at the center of the unpleasant incident was behind the wheel of a white car. A description of the alleged perpetrator has not yet been made available.
