Mamaroneck's Summer Leaf Blower Ban Now In Effect
Don't forget the rules on power mowers either.
MAMARONECK, NY — More and more municipalities in Westchester ban the use of leaf blowers between May and September.
The Town of Mamaroneck's annual ban on gas-powered blowers began Saturday.
Now there are some exceptions: the law does not apply to utility companies, municipal and/or school district emergency operations and for a period of up to five days following storms for purposes of removing debris resulting from such storms.
