Metro-North, NJ Transit Changes For Thursday, March 8
The aftermath of the snow storm continue to affect rail travel in the Hudson Valley.

Metro-North Railroad will be operating on a reduced schedule for Thursday, March 8. The New Canaan and Danbury branches remain suspended until further notice, according to the MTA website.
Customers should expect extremely crowded conditions and delays due to the residual effects of the storm.

NJ TRANSIT Rail service for today, March 8-Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line and Pascack Valley Line is expected to operate on regular weekday service. However, Raritan Valley, Atlantic City, Main/Bergen County, Port Jervis, Morristown, Gladstone Branch & Montclair Boonton lines were heavily impacted by the storm. Customers are strongly advised to build in extra travel time and check the status of the system prior to making their trip by visiting njtransit.com or utilizing the My Transit alert system, which delivers travel advisories to your smartphone.
NJ TRANSIT is offering full system wide cross-honoring, enabling customers to use their ticket or pass on an alternate travel mode including rail, light rail, bus, PATH and NY Waterway.
