Nicholas Antonelli, Of Mamaroneck, Dies At 85

MAMARONECK, NY — Nicholas Antonelli, of Mamaroneck, passed away April 7, 2019, at age 85. Nick was born March 16, 1934, to Peter & Chiarina Antonelli. He proudly served his nation in the Army during the Korean Conflict and went on to work tirelessly as a stone mason.

Nick is fondly remembered as a talented artist who created beautiful sceneries and landscapes with oil paints. He is also described as a lover of golf and cooking. Nick is the beloved husband of JoAnn (nee Giorgio) and the cherished father of Nicholas Antonelli Jr (LuAnn) and Lori Kopy (Michael). He is the loving grandfather of Michael & Matthew Kopy, Michelle Baird and Paul Carafiello and great grandfather of Taylor, Tristan, and Cameron. Nick is also the dear brother of Mario, Leonard & Angelina Antonelli and the late, Joseph and Michael Antonelli.

To honor Nick’s life, family and friends will gather from 4 p.m. t0 8 p.m. Wednesday at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Committal will be private.
