From John J. Fox Funeral Home:

Lewis M. Cox II died peacefully on May 11, 2019, surrounded by his loving children, after a valiant battle with Multiple Myeloma and MDS Leukemia. Lewis was born July 12, 1944, to Maria Lane & Francis Milnor Cox in the Bronx, NY. He graduated from Iona Preparatory School, Fairfield University and obtained his MBA from University of Kansas in 1971. Lew was an officer in the U.S. Army serving in Europe during the Vietnam War. He raised his family in Larchmont, NY and enjoyed his final years overlooking the Long Island Sound in New Rochelle.

Lew’s early career in the municipal bond market began at Chemical Bank and culminated as a Principal with Alex. Brown & Sons. In the 1990s he went on to pursue his passion for technology. Lew retired from The Osborn in Rye, NY in 2012 where he managed the software and hardware needs throughout the facility. He thoroughly enjoyed helping others. Whether it was serving the parish of St. Augustine or helping a friend, he lived by the Golden Rule: “Do unto others what you would have them do to you.”
